A pre-school teacher is not just about fun and games. At Roots to Wings, a lot of care is taken to ensure we have qualified and well trained teachers to groom your precious little one!
In the first place we follow a strict selection criteria under which we hand-pick qualified teachers who fulfill one basic criteria - love for children. Once selected, our teachers go through an intensive training programme. They are given training in child psychology as well as an understanding on how children grow, develop, and learn and apply these principles to practical classroom teaching methods.
Child Appropriate Infrastructure
Little ones spend a bulk of their waking hours at preschool and thus the quality of place and the environment make a vast difference. Infrastructure at 'Roots to Wings is carefully designed keeping up the uniformity in the look and feel maintaining the child friendly nature of the school environment.
'Roots to Wings' is a child friendly place with a safe and hygienic environment, colourful ambience with child appropriate teaching and learning aids. Infrastructure is selected considering the needs of our young ones at Roots to Wings and is accompanied by the assorted teaching and learning aids that aim towards holistic development of every child. TAN - Teaching Aid Nomenclature is collection of aids that are carefully mapped to ally the curriculum delivery process. Child size furniture and sanitary provisions help us aim to ace the heights of quality.
The interiors at 'Roots to Wings' are designed for children keeping in mind their bubbly nature and provision of optimum opportunity to develop holistically. Well ventilated and lit classrooms, appropriate display of aids and children's work help to reinforce the concepts as well as boost the self -esteem of our young ones.
R & D Team
Today, the world of education is very dynamic and constantly evolving. Technology is fast emerging as a powerful trend in impacting learning both within the classroom and without the classroom.
The men and women behind the research and development initiatives have on the field experience and come from a variety of educational and professional background.One third of the team comprises of postgraduates in various fields such as early childhood education, math, physics, chemistry, biology, languages, special education and software engineering. The rest have advanced degrees, mainly in education, languages, engineering and social work and the other half of the team comprises of Ph.D’s and M.Phils.
This dynamic and well qualified team has toiled hard to bridge the gap that exists in the educational arena and has devised ways and means to equips SHEMROCK educators and teachers with the tools and strategies they need to help students achieve success.
